Can I track both consumable supplies and reusable equipment?
Yes, and they behave differently. Consumables track quantity, usage and reorder points. Equipment tracks where it is, who has it, its status and when it was last serviced.
What happens when something hits its reorder point?
Mako flags it as low and surfaces it on the dashboard rather than in an email you will miss. You can raise an order against the item and the received quantity updates the balance.
Does materials cost feed into job profitability?
Yes. Log what a job consumed and Mako deducts the stock and adds the cost to that job, so margin includes materials instead of just labour.
Can I do a stock count and correct the numbers?
Yes. Adjust the quantity and the adjustment is recorded as its own movement with a reason, so the history explains the difference rather than hiding it.
Can I see what an item costs me over time?
Yes. Unit cost is held per item and every receipt records what you actually paid, so you can see when a supplier price has crept up.
