How long until payments reach my bank account?

Typically 1-2 business days after the customer pays, depending on your Stripe account settings.

What are the processing fees?

Standard Stripe rates apply: 2.9% + $0.30 for card payments, lower for ACH. Mako doesn't add additional fees on top of Stripe's rates. More information here.

What happens if a client no-shows?

No-shows are logged on the client profile. You can see no-show history and set policies (like requiring deposits) for repeat offenders.

Can I import my existing customers?

Yes. Upload a CSV file and Mako will map your columns to customer fields, including custom fields and tags.

How long does setup take?

The onboarding wizard walks you through 6 steps: your business info, your profile, how you work, your services (pre-populated based on your industry), your booking link, and inviting your team. Most users are up and running within a single session.

What payment methods can customers use?

Credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers (where enabled). All payments process securely through Stripe.

Do customers need an account to pay?
