What are the processing fees?
Standard Stripe rates apply: 2.9% + $0.30 for card payments, and lower for ACH bank transfers. Mako does not add any fee on top of Stripe's rates.
Do customers need an account to pay?
No. They click the payment link, enter their card and pay. There is no login to create and nothing to download.
Which payment methods can customers use?
Credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers where you enable them. Everything processes securely through Stripe.
Can I take a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes. Invoice a deposit or a percentage up front and bill the balance later. Mako tracks partial payments against the invoice, so you always see what is still owed.
