Is there a limit on team members?
Starter includes 3 team members, Team includes 15, and Enterprise is unlimited. We are happy to review seat counts based on how you actually work.
How does pay tracking work?
Set each person's pay structure: hourly, per-booking, commission, or salary. When they clock time or complete jobs, Mako calculates their earnings automatically.
Can I stop staff seeing each other's pay?
Yes. Only Admin and Finance roles can see pay rates and payroll. A Manager can run the rota and see bookings and customers without ever seeing what anyone earns.
Can external team members have limited access?
Yes. Give an external team member or bookkeeper a Finance role for invoices and reports, or a Member role for their own schedule only. They never see more than their role allows.
What happens when I approve time off?
Those days are blocked from booking immediately, the person's balance updates, and anything already scheduled is flagged so you can move it rather than discover it later.
